About Us

Acts Church Hamilton

Jesus came into the world to bring freedom and purpose to our lives. He said;

“For this is how God loved the world: He gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life. God sent his Son into the world not to judge the world, but to save the world through him. There is no judgment against anyone who believes in him. But anyone who does not believe in him has already been judged for not believing in God’s one and only Son.” (John 3:16, NLT Bible).

Currently we are meeting for worship and teaching in homes. The original word for our word 'church' is ekklesia, which actually means "a called-out assembly or congregation", not a building. Buildings are for convenience when needed, but 'church' is not really a building, it is a group of people who follow Jesus Christ.

Acts 2:42: "They devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer... Every day they continued to meet together in the temple courts. They broke bread in their homes and ate together with glad and sincere hearts, praising God and enjoying the favour of all the people. And the Lord added to their number daily those who were being saved."

Real Life Stories

Unpicking the truth behind the world’s greatest life stories…

Click on the link on the right and take a look at reallifestories.org. RLS was started as a full-colour magazine in 2007 and became an online service in 2013. The high costs of magazine production and distribution limited access to a few thousand people, mostly in Great Britain, and was badly effected by the 2008 economic crisis. The online version has now been accessed by millions, and is actually available to five billion internet users across the world.
